Painting the baby's nursery was my big creative project so far this summer! I love painting nurseries!

Golden Thread

This painting will be auctioned off for charity at the Art with Heart exhibit in Claremont, CA. This is another abstract inspired by Mother Teresa's words, "Love is the golden thread that ties our hearts and souls together". I had fun using bubble wrap to create the texture on the right to symbolize fragility.

Nightfall (for sale)

When I started this painting, I didn't think it would turn out as dark as it did. I suppose it only appears dark and eerie if you are fearful of things that go bump in the night. Fears can fade if you face them directly and say, "enough is enough"...Perhaps you might actually find serenity in the unknown!

Madonna & Child (for sale)

This painting was inspired by a photo I took of a beautiful statue in Brugge. Everyone should have the opportunity to travel to Europe at least once in their lifetime...it is amazing to explore cities that are so old and rich with history.
